Role Summary:

We are looking for a Junior Automotive Engineer to support automotive research and diagnostics development, focusing on OBD-II systems, CAN data analysis, and improving car scanner functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test OBD-II scanner functions (DTCs, live data PIDs, resets, special functions).
  • Check function support across different car brands and models.
  • Log CAN/OBD data and prepare structured reports.
  • Identify incorrect sensor values, scaling issues, and unsupported PIDs.
  • Work with the product and tech teams to improve automotive diagnostics logic.
  • Document findings and contribute to building accurate vehicle-specific data.

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of vehicle systems, ECUs, sensors, and diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with OBD-II scanners and CAN communication (beginner level).
  • Strong observation, analytical thinking, and reporting skills.
  • Passion for cars, learning diagnostics, and automotive electronics.
