Role & responsibilities

  1. Managing Inventory levels to minimize risk while maximizing inventory turns.

  2. Management of supplier relationships and development of partnerships to ensure efficient use of resources and effective material and component supply practices.

  3. Monitoring open Purchase Orders and Stock Status reports and expediting order fulfilment to ensure on-time delivery

  4. Leading the internal initiative to implement and maintain an effective and accurate physical inventory system, including ERP transaction accuracy, physical inventory events, and cycle counting as appropriat

  5. Collaborate with the OEM /Brand supply chain team to determine minimum stock levels (MSL) for various products

  6. Oversee day-to-day warehouse & Logistics operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatches

  7. Implement and monitor inventory control systems, including stock audits and cycle counts

  8. Plan and manage inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, fleet management, and distribution

  9. Optimize logistics costs while maintaining service levels and delivery performance

  10. Manage the procurement of spare parts by coordinating with vendors, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and maintaining optimal stock levels.

  11. Solid knowledge of Supply Chain and Materials Management Systems

  12. Ability to interpret data and make including appropriate personnel where needed; exhibit sound and accurate judgment

  13. Ability to forge positive relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of management and with all departments

  14. Ensure proper use of WMS (Warehouse Management System), ERP, and other logistics software

  15. Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor and report on operational performance

  16. Show initiative by undertaking self-development activities, seeking increased responsibilities, and taking advantage of learning opportunities

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 8 years of Supply Chain Management experience in consumer durable industry
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow through
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Distribution center or warehouse experience a plus
  • Minimize inventory write-offs of finished goods inventory, intermediates, and raw materials
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Should have experience of managing and handling team
  • Should be able to identify root cause of problems, think laterally and offer solutions
  • Should have good decision making skills
