Position: Product and Project Costing Analyst

Experience: 3-6 years

Qualification: CMA, B.E, B. Tech

Profile:

The candidate will be involved in New Product Costing, Inhouse and Bought Out cost calculation & Comparison, Machine Hour Rate Calculation, Batch Costing and Cost Audit and be supporting Internal Audit, Statutory Audit and Cost Audit.

Candidate should be experienced in Oracle ERP and will be involved in migration of Data from Local ERP to Oracle.

Key Responsibilities Costing:

  1. New Product Cost and Gross Margin Working for RFQ and CAR working.

  2. Inhouse Project cost working and Make or Buy cost working.

  3. Tool Room Tool Cost working and Quote Comparison with External Supplier.

  4. Identification of Cost savings Opportunities and coordinate with CFT team for implementation.

  5. Track of Component Inhouse Segment Cost and Tool Room Cost Component Segment wise and Machine wise to Absorb Cost to respective Machines.

  6. Reconciliation of cost Absorption between Tool Room, Component Inhouse Segment and Business Unit.

  7. Regularly Monitor the Machine and Line Utilization for Tool Room, Component Inhouse Segment Cost and Business Unit Assembly Line.

  8. To Monitor & control Project & product Actual cost against the Project Approved Cost.

  9. To Support on Internal Audit, Statutory Audit and Cost Audit

  10. Support on Automation of MIS reports and Project Cost Review Reports.

Key Responsibilities Oracle migration:

  • Support data migration activities including cleansing, transformation, and validation of cost data.
  • Collaborate with IT, consultants, and finance stakeholders to define and validate business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into system requirements and test new functionalities or enhancements.
  • Reproduce and analyze issues in test environments for root cause analysis.
  • Participate in functional testing (UAT), especially for intercompany flows and cost accounting scenarios.
  • Assist in configuring standard costing setups and ensure alignment with corporate finance policies.
  • Train finance users on new processes and Oracle functionality, with emphasis on costing.

Requirements:

  1. Must be Experienced in Product and Project Cost Working from Manufacturing Industry.

  2. Should be Good in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Power BI with strong Analytical Skills.

  3. Qualification BE / CMA Qualified with 3 to 7 years of Experience.

  4. Prefer candidates having worked in Oracle environment.
