Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS.
  • Perform data integration and transformation between on-premises and cloud-based systems.
  • Develop reusable mappings, mapplets, and workflows ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Work closely with business and data teams to understand requirements and translate them into ETL design.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing ETL jobs for performance and scalability.
  • Manage job scheduling, monitoring, and error handling within IICS.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance across systems.
  • Support migration from on-premise Informatica PowerCenter to IICS (Cloud), if applicable.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to automate deployment and testing of ETL jobs.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IICS.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Experience in integrating with cloud data sources (Azure, AWS, GCP, or Snowflake).
  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL best practices, and data modeling.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP API integration within IICS.
  • Familiarity with Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Application Integration (CAI) modules.
  • Hands-on experience with version control, scheduling tools, and DevOps pipelines is a plus.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, or Azure Data Factory.
  • Exposure to Python or Shell scripting for automation.
  • Experience in data migration and modernization projects.
  • Informatica or cloud certifications (e.g., Informatica Certified Professional, Azure Data Engineer) will be an advantage.
