Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer (ATE) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions for the testing of semiconductor devices, boards, or systems. This role involves working closely with design, validation, and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality, optimize test coverage, and meet time-to-market goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and debug test programs for ATE platforms (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest, Verigy/Keysight, National Instruments, SPEA, etc.).
  • Perform test program bring-up, characterization, correlation, and production release.
  • Design test hardware including load boards, probe cards, and test fixtures in coordination with PCB/layout teams.
  • Analyze test data to identify issues with yield, performance, or reliability.
  • Collaborate with design and product engineering teams to define test strategies, test coverage, and DFT (Design for Testability) features.
  • Drive test time reduction, yield enhancement, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) into mass production.
  • Maintain and improve test systems and infrastructure for long-term reliability and scalability.
  • Create and maintain documentation for test procedures, test plans, and ATE programs.
  • Support failure analysis and customer returns (RMA) by replicating issues on ATE platforms.

Required Skills :

  • Hands-on experience with one or more ATE platforms (e.g., Teradyne UltraFlex, Advantest V93K, Verigy 93K, LTX-Credence, National Instruments PXI, etc.).
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, or ATE-specific languages.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, analog/digital circuits, and measurement principles.
  • Familiarity with DFT methodologies (scan, BIST, boundary scan, etc.).
  • Understanding of statistical analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab) for data analysis and yield improvement.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics, datasheets, and test specifications.
