Role Description
Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java 8 (mandatory) and Java 11 (working knowledge), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Struts2, JSP, AngularJS, and JavaScript.
  • Develop secure REST APIs, crafting solutions grounded in a microservices architecture.
  • Write unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMockito to ensure code quality and stability.
  • Containerize applications with Docker and manage orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI for efficient deployment workflows.
  • Configure and deploy applications on WebLogic and Apache HTTP Server in Linux environments.
  • Optimize SQL Server usage through query optimization and crafting stored procedures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally using Agile methodologies via JIRA and maintain documentation on Confluence.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide junior developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and fostering technical growth.
  • Provide production support, quickly diagnosing and resolving technical issues to ensure system availability.

Required Technical Skills

  • Backend Technologies: Java 8 (mandatory), Java 11 (working knowledge), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Struts2, JSP
  • API & Architecture: REST API development, Microservices architecture
  • Frontend Technologies: AngularJS, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3
  • Testing Frameworks: JUnit, Mockito, PowerMockito
  • DevOps & Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins or GitLab CI)
  • Servers & OS: WebLogic, Apache HTTP Server, Linux (command-line and scripting)
  • Database: SQL Server (including query optimization and stored procedures)
  • Collaboration Tools: JIRA (Agile project tracking), Confluence (documentation)
  • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Application security: JWT, OAuth2, OWASP standards
  • Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
