Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced freelance developer to join our Web Development division on a contract basis. This remote role focuses on enhancing our existing web portals, e-commerce sites, websites, and mobile apps by integrating AI layers to improve functionality, user experience, and efficiency. We're particularly interested in candidates who can bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas on AI enablement.

This is a flexible contract position with potential for ongoing collaboration, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to cutting-edge projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our team to assess and integrate AI features into existing web and mobile applications, such as personalized recommendations, chatbots, predictive analytics, automation tools, or intelligent search functionalities.

• Develop and implement AI-driven enhancements using modern frameworks and APIs (e.g., integrating machine learning models via TensorFlow, PyTorch, or cloud services like AWS AI, Google Cloud AI).

• Share your previous work examples and propose creative ideas for AI enablement tailored to our platforms, including feasibility assessments and prototypes.

• Optimize code for performance, scalability, and security while ensuring seamless integration with current systems.

• Participate in remote team meetings (via MS Teams) to discuss progress, brainstorm solutions, and iterate on features.

• Troubleshoot and maintain AI-integrated components post-implementation.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a web developer with at least 3-5 years in building and maintaining web portals, e-commerce sites, websites, or mobile apps.

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML integration in real-world projects (e.g., using APIs from OpenAI, Hugging Face, or similar).

• Strong proficiency in web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular), and backend languages (e.g., , Python, PHP).

• Familiarity with mobile app development (e.g., React Native, Flutter) and cross-platform integration.

• Ability to provide portfolio samples or case studies demonstrating past AI-enhanced projects.

• Excellent communication skills to articulate AI ideas and collaborate remotely.

• Based overseas (outside the US/our primary location) with reliable internet and availability during overlapping business hours (flexible scheduling).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms for AI deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Knowledge of data handling, APIs, and ethical AI practices (e.g., bias mitigation, data privacy compliance like GDPR).

• Previous freelance/contract work with international teams.

• Enthusiasm for emerging AI trends and a proactive approach to innovation.

Contract Details

-Compensation: Competitive hourly or project-based rate (negotiable based on experience; please include your rate expectations in your application).

-Work Hours: Flexible, part-time or full-time equivalent, with core hours aligned to your timezone
