Role Summary

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience in lighting and electrical layouts for large commercial or corporate real-estate projects.

The person will lead a team of young engineers who prepare BOQs, layouts, and technical documentation, Lighting design and will ensure drawings, mock-ups, and handover packs are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities


• Review and guide the team on AutoCAD lighting and electrical layouts for office and commercial projects.


• Manage and check BOQs, work orders, and technical documentation before release.


• Coordinate with estimation, project, and production teams to ensure all drawings and data sheets are aligned.


• Plan and monitor mock-ups, site visits, and application support activities.


• Ensure layouts meet required lux levels and lighting standards (basic Dialux knowledge preferred).


• Support the projects team during installation and handover phases.


• Maintain proper record keeping, version control, and documentation formats.


• Train and mentor junior engineers to improve quality and speed of output.

Candidate Profile


• Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.


• Experience: 5–8 years, preferably with an MEP consulting firm or design-build company.


• Should have handled large office or commercial projects (2–3 lakh or more).


• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, understanding of lighting layouts and electrical load distribution.


• Working knowledge of Dialux / Relux for lux-level checking is an advantage.


• Should understand tender documentation, BOQ preparation, and coordination drawings.


• Good communication skills and ability to manage a team of 4–6 junior engineers.
