Key Responsibilities of a Sub Zonal Manage
1. Operational Management
Oversee day-to-day business operations across multiple branches/hubs within the sub-zone.
Ensure smooth last-mile and first-mile operations (if logistics) or sales and service delivery (if retail/finance).
Monitor adherence to company SOPs, policies, and compliance standards.
2. Team & Performance Management
Manage and guide Area Managers / Hub Managers / Branch Managers.
Set targets, KPIs, and performance goals for teams.
Conduct regular reviews, provide feedback, and ensure proper training & skill development.
3. Business Growth & Revenue
Drive sales, collections, and revenue generation within the sub-zone.
Identify new opportunities (expansion, partnerships, local market development).
Ensure achievement of monthly/quarterly targets.
4. Customer & Client Relationship
Resolve high-level customer escalations.
Ensure high standards of customer service, delivery, and satisfaction.
Build strong relationships with local clients, partners, and vendors.
5. Strategic Implementation
Act as the link between Zonal Manager and ground-level teams.
Translate zonal-level strategies into actionable sub-zonal plans.
Track competition and share market intelligence with leadership.
6. Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and company policies.
Prepare and present weekly/monthly reports on operations, revenue, and team performance.
Monitor cost control and profitability for the sub-zone.
