Key Responsibilities :-

Drafting & Design

  • Prepare P&ID (Process Diagrams).
  • Develop Plant Layouts.
  • Create Equipment GA Drawings.
  • Produce As-Built Drawings.
  • Prepare Equipment Fabrication Drawings.
  • Generate Detailed Structural Drawings.
  • Create Foundation Detail Drawings.
  • Prepare Plate Cutting Layouts.
  • Develop detailed 2D & 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Update/revise existing drawings based on changes or improvements.

Technical Support & Documentation

  • Prepare BOM for raw materials, piping & fittings, structural steel, and accessories.
  • Assist in Turnkey Plant Costing & Estimation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers for design understanding.
  • Provide technical support during drafting and design stages.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Prepare datasheets for equipment, pumps, and accessories.
  • Maintain accurate records of drafts, revisions, and final drawings.
  • Compile technical documents and reports.

Quality Control

  • Review/check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and specification compliance.
  • Visit sites for measurements and design verification when required.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, production, and other departments.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders for drawing-related clarifications.

Qualifications

  • Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in mechanical drafting & design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of other CAD tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles and engineering standards.
  • Good English communication and email handling.
  • Excellent technical drawing skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork and coordination abilities
