Job Summary

  • Seeking a skilled Mechanical AutoCAD Draftsman with a strong background in mechanical drafting and design.
  • Responsible for creating detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and plans for various projects.
  • Ensure precision, accuracy, and compliance with design specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Drafting & Design

  • Prepare and develop:
  • P&ID (Process and Instrumentation Diagram)
  • Plant Layout Drawings
  • Equipment GA (General Arrangement) Drawings
  • As-Built Drawings
  • Equipment Fabrication Drawings
  • Detailed Structural Drawings
  • Foundation Detail Drawings
  • Plate Cutting Layout Drawings
  • Create 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Revise and update existing drawings to reflect changes or design improvements.

2. Technical Support & Documentation

  • Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) for:
  • Raw materials
  • Piping and fittings
  • Structural steel and accessories
  • Assist in turnkey plant costing and estimation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements.
  • Provide technical support and recommendations during design and drafting.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Prepare equipment datasheets (pumps, accessories, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate records of drafts, revisions, and final drawings.
  • Prepare and compile technical documentation and reports as needed.

3. Quality Control

  • Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and specification compliance.
  • Conduct site/field visits to gather measurements and verify design accuracy when required.

4. Collaboration

  • Work closely with the engineering team and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to address design-related queries.

Qualifications Education

  • Diploma, ITI, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical drafting and design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of other CAD software is an advantage).

Skills

  • Strong understanding of mechanical design and engineering principles.
  • Excellent technical drawing and drafting skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering specifications and standards.
  • Fluent in English with good email and communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organization.
  • Strong teamwork, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60, ₹70,000.00 per month
