Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Manager (Platform) to lead our product roadmap and platform shipping efforts. In this role, your job will be to combine market focus and customer-centricity with our vision, to drive the timely delivery of the planned product features. This role is a combination of strategic thought and the ability to take tactical decisions. You will be managing the platform that will power the Indian hyperscale cloud ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities in this role will be centered around the following:

  • Drive the execution of all the stages of the product life cycle, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and release.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams.
  • Enable all the internal teams on product features and adoption with the primary goal of creating product champions, and expand the product culture within the organisation.
  • Collaborate closely with UX, engineering and QA teams to maintain and own a healthy backlog, including but not limited to defining themes, epics, stories and release notes.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to create training material, product manuals and other rich content.
  • Act as the 'voice of the customer' and liaison between internal stakeholders.

Requirements

Needless to say, this role is a combination of proven experience and the ability to think spontaneously. We'll be evaluating your candidature on the following criteria:

  • 5+ years of experience and a proven track record of planning, managing and shipping product releases in a SaaS organisation.
  • Exceptional communication skills with clear verbal and written articulation.
  • Prior experience of active involvement in the product development life cycle.
  • Cross-functional orchestration skills and an enablement-driven mindset.
  • Hands-on experience with tools for collaboration, documentation and prototyping.
  • Eagerness to 'learn the ropes' by going deep into the functional domains of new and existing technologies.

  • Experience working in various organisations (start-up, corporate, agency/consultancy) with a demonstrable ability to lead teams and initiatives.
  • Experience from or outside the Product Management field that enriches your perspective as a Product leader.
