
Insurance Associate

The Insurance Associate will play a key role in supporting the sales and customer service functions within our organization. This individual will assist clients with their insurance needs, explain policy details, process applications, and ensure smooth post-sales operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, a customer-centric approach, and a desire to build a career in the dynamic insurance sector.
Responsibilities- Client Engagement & Support:
- Serve as an initial point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries about insurance products, policies, and services.
- Provide clear, accurate, and comprehensive information to clients, both over the phone and in person.
- Assist clients in understanding various insurance terms, benefits, inclusions, and exclusions.
- Sales Support & Documentation:
- Support senior sales executives or agents in preparing proposals, presentations, and policy documents.
- Guide clients through the insurance application process, ensuring all forms are filled out accurately and completely.
- Collect and verify necessary client documentation for policy issuance and renewals.
- Process policy issuance, endorsements, and cancellations as per company guidelines.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain positive relationships with existing clients through regular follow-ups, reminders for premium payments, and updates on policy changes.
- Address client concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor.
- Assist clients with basic post-sales services, such as policy modifications or address changes.
- Claims Assistance:
- Provide initial guidance and support to clients during the claims process.
- Assist clients in compiling necessary documents for claims submission and liaise with the claims department for smooth resolution.
- Record Keeping & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all client interactions, policy details, and transactions in the company's system.
- Prepare basic reports on sales activities, client queries, and policy status as required.
- Compliance & Knowledge:
- Adhere strictly to all IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) regulations, company policies, and ethical guidelines.
- Continuously update knowledge on new insurance products, market trends, and regulatory changes.
