Position Overview

The position will support BrainWave's clients who are global suppliers of automation systems, heating solutions, test systems, special purpose machines and solutions. This includes (but not limited to) Indutsrial Automation, Automotive/EV, Aerospace, Life Sciences and Semiconductor industry. The support will be provided Globally and within India.

The embedded developer will be involved from the inquiry stage through handover and closure of client's system / machine / product. The position will use functional knowledge of the manufacturing industry and configuration of various automation systems.

Qualifications

Degree in Electronics Engineering or Equivalent

Experience at least 5 years in similar field

Proficiency in Embedded C Programming Language

Exposure to Electronics Hardware (Development is not needed) Plus

Knowledge of embedded software architecture and development

Knowledge of PIC 32 and ARM Cortex M7 environments

Roles and Responsibilities:

1) Understand customer's product.

  • Review customer's existing design and software architecture and standard practices.
  • Understand the product variants.
  • Gather information regarding the functioning of the product.

2) Implementation and Integration

  • Gather relevant data to input into software model.
  • Carry out the software development / coding as per the requirements and feedback on Test Jigs.
  • Validate software code.

3) Training and Support

  • Provide support to customer's teams before final hand-over and closure.

4) Perform other duties as required or assigned by the Company leadership.
