ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Finance & Accounts professional to manage the company's financial operations, reporting, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, financial discipline, and the ability to partner cross-functionally to support business growth. This role involves managing end-to-end accounting, driving process improvements, and ensuring timely financial reporting and statutory compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Close & Control

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations — journals, reconciliations, and ledger reviews.

• Drive month-end closure with accurate provisioning for expenses, accruals, depreciation, and amortization.

• Maintain and reconcile sub-ledgers (AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Inventory) to ensure a clean trial balance each month.

Financial Reporting & MIS

• Prepare monthly financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow in accordance with Ind AS.

• Conduct variance analysis against budgets and prior periods; identify key cost and margin trends.
• Support the preparation of management dashboards, board presentations, and investor MIS reports.

Compliance & Taxation

• Ensure timely GST and TDS filings, reconciliations, and vendor compliance.

• Support statutory and tax audits with complete documentation and accuracy.

• Maintain compliance under the Companies Act and other applicable regulations.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Review vendor payments for accuracy and proper accounting of discounts, credit/debit notes, and reconciliations.

• Streamline and automate AP/AR processes to improve workflow efficiency and accuracy.

Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify and implement opportunities for automation within ERP and in-house systems.

• Collaborate with Tech and Product teams to enhance data integration, consistency, and reporting accuracy.

QUALIFICATION

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2+ years of post-qualification experience, or an MBA in Finance with 7+ years of experience.

• Strong understanding of Ind AS, GST, TDS, and Companies Act provisions.

• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books, Tally, or SAP; advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency preferred.

• High ownership mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.

EMPLOYEE STATUS AND COMMITMENTS

• Permanent full-time position located at our Hyderabad office, with regular on-site visits to clients and vendor locations.

• Overtime may be necessary to ensure the timely delivery of client projects.

• Weekend work is uncommon but may occasionally be required.
