Role & responsibilities

  • Supervise E&I shift operations for EAF, LRF, VD & CCM.
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical equipment, instrumentation, automation, drives, and power systems.
  • Ensure preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for minimum breakdown.
  • Coordinate with Production, Mechanical, and Utilities teams for seamless operations.
  • Enforce compliance with safety protocols, statutory requirements, and company standards.
  • Guide and support shift technicians/operators for efficient task execution.
  • Maintain shift reports, breakdown logs, and downtime analysis.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 5 8 years of relevant experience in SMS (EAF, LRF, VD & CCM) operations in a steel plant.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, VFDs, and automation systems.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and handle shift responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts.
