GST Executive

Overview

The GST Executive will assist in managing all aspects of Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance and reporting for the organization. This role involves preparing and filing GST returns, supporting reconciliations, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to GST laws and regulations. The GST Executive will work closely with the Finance and Tax teams to ensure timely and accurate compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • GST Compliance & Filing

  • Prepare and file GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and Annual Returns) accurately and on time.

  • Assist in reconciliation of GSTR-2A/2B with books of accounts and GSTR-3B.

  • Maintain proper documentation and records for all GST-related transactions.

  • Support in GST Matters

  • Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to resolve GST-related queries.

  • Support in replying to GST notices, assessments, and audits under the guidance of the GST Manager.

  • Assist in preparation of data and reports for internal and statutory auditors.

  • Operational Activities

  • Ensure proper GST treatment for invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.

  • Monitor and verify vendor/supplier GST compliance before releasing payments.

  • Support in preparation of Zoho reports and automation tools related to GST tracking and reporting.

  • Knowledge & Updates

  • Stay updated with the latest amendments in GST laws and rules.

  • Assist in conducting internal training sessions or awareness activities on GST updates.

Qualifications

  • Inter CA or equivalent qualification.
  • 25 years of experience in GST and Indirect Taxation.
  • Working knowledge of GST filings, reconciliations, and e-invoicing.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Zoho, Tally, SAP, etc.).
  • Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to meet strict deadlines.
