About the Role:

We are looking for a Data Engineer (Consultant) to support a 6-month engagement with a leading bank in Vietnam. The role involves building and maintaining data pipelines for marketing analytics, ensuring reliable data availability for insights, and enabling advanced marketing intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows for marketing data.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources including web analytics, CRM, paid channels, and customer databases.
  • Develop and optimize data models for campaign and customer analytics.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Marketing teams to deliver actionable insights.
  • Implement solutions for batch and real-time data processing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in marketing analytics or banking projects.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala for data engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL tools (Airflow, dbt, Talend, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with data warehouses and data lakes (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
  • Experience with big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and APIs.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in banking/financial services data projects.
  • Exposure to MLOps and supporting machine learning pipelines.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data engineering (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹2,000, ₹4,041,108.58 per year
