Job Title: Estimation and Billing Engineer

Location: Raipur & Korba (Chhattisgarh)

Role Objective

To manage all estimation, quantity surveying, rate analysis, and billing-related activities for ongoing and upcoming construction and interior projects at Raipur and Korba. The role ensures accuracy in quantity take-offs, timely preparation of client and subcontractor bills, and strict adherence to contract and BOQ terms to support smooth financial and project operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Estimation & Costing

  • Study tender drawings, specifications, and BOQs for preparing detailed quantity take-offs.
  • Prepare detailed and abstract cost estimates for civil, interior, and MEP works.
  • Conduct rate analysis as per CPWD/DSR and prevailing market rates.
  • Prepare project budget sheets and cost comparisons for management review.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility and cost implications of design or scope changes.

2. Client & Subcontractor Billing

  • Prepare Running Account (RA) Bills and final bills for client submission with full documentation.
  • Verify and certify subcontractor/vendor bills based on measurement sheets and site work progress.
  • Ensure all bills are supported by Joint Measurement Records (JMR), approval notes, and site photographs.
  • Follow up with clients for bill verification, certification, and payment processing.
  • Prepare reconciliation and deviation statements wherever applicable.

3. Measurement & Documentation

  • Take joint site measurements with clients and site teams.
  • Maintain Measurement Books (MB) and abstract sheets in standard formats.
  • Keep systematic records of executed work quantities and approved drawings.
  • Monitor material consumption and prepare material reconciliation reports.
  • Support preparation of variation, extra item, and escalation claims.

4. Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate closely with Site Engineers, Planning, Procurement, and Accounts teams.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and auditors for billing verification and clarification.
  • Support project cash flow forecasting and cost control analysis.
  • Assist in preparing tender documents, BOQs, and techno-commercial proposals.

5. Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure all estimation and billing work is aligned with contract terms and technical standards.
  • Follow company policies and documentation systems.
  • Support management with accurate MIS and billing status reports.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 2–8 years of experience in Estimation & Billing for Civil / Interior / Infrastructure Projects.
  • Software Skills: AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint

Job Type: Full-time
