Position Overview:

We invite applications for the position of Principal from dynamic and experienced nursing education professionals. The Principal will provide visionary leadership, academic guidance, and administrative direction to the institution while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all academic, administrative, and operational functions of the College of Nursing.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian Nursing Council (INC), Odisha Nursing Council, and affiliating university norms.
  • Oversee curriculum design, academic scheduling, and quality teaching practices.
  • Supervise clinical training, internships, and hospital collaborations.
  • Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty and staff performance.
  • Promote research, professional development, and community health programs.
  • Uphold institutional values, ethics, and educational excellence.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized university (Ph.D. preferred).
  • Minimum 15 years of teaching experience, including at least 5 years in a senior administrative or leadership role (such as Vice Principal, Professor, or Head of Department).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • In-depth understanding of academic accreditation, nursing council requirements, and modern teaching methodologies.
