About the Role:

We are looking for a part-time accountant with solid experience in managing accounts for small businesses. The role involves handling accounting for two preschool branches and one petrol pump, ensuring all financial records are accurate, updated, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

For Preschools (Water Town & HUDA 13-17):

  • Visit both branches weekly to review and update financial records.

  • Maintain all fee receivables, payments, expenses, salaries, and other transactions.

  • Update and reconcile data weekly (cash, UPI, and online transactions).

  • Prepare monthly net profit statements based on total receivables and payables.

  • Maintain and prepare data for the partnership firm's balance sheet that runs both schools.

For Petrol Pump:

  • Visit once or twice a week to update purchase, sales, card, and cash transaction records.

  • Maintain regular entries of daily transactions and expenses.

  • Prepare monthly profit/loss statements and ensure data accuracy.

  • Match and reconcile bank statements for both preschools and petrol pump.

  • Handle GST and VAT return filings and assist in balance sheet preparation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience (preferably in small business or service sector).

  • Strong knowledge of Tally / Excel / GST / VAT / banking reconciliation.

  • Ability to work independently with accuracy and accountability.

  • Must be able to visit locations weekly as per requirement.

Working Schedule:

  • Part-time, flexible schedule (weekly visits to schools and petrol pump).

Compensation:

  • Negotiable based on experience and performance.
