Job Details

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensures the performance SLA metrics are continuously achieved with regular monitoring, timely resolutions, and proactive capacity planning

• Acts as an advisor and coordinates with the principal engineer and others to resolve high severity/high priority breakdown incidents across Infrastructure components

• Improves availability, reliability, and performance of infrastructure components by developing system-level improvements and adopting new processes and solutions

• Takes ownership of delivering medium to large-scale complex projects requiring capacity upgradation, migration, or integration of new solutions with the least disruption

• Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility

• Manages and ensures the completeness of technical requirements and functional architecture analysis for the design and implementation of system business solutions

• Oversees the deployment of infrastructure solutions for installation, upgradation, or improvement of business system solutions

• Oversees the scheduling, coordination, and completion of all significant planned and emergency maintenance events for all facilities through the enterprise

• Works with Principal Engineers and other stakeholders to define the success criteria for new and upgrade implementations, and ensures the adherence in deployment, testing, production, and post-production stage of the project lifecycle

• Prepares and reviews the technical documentation and documentation for the maintenance of the managed systems

• Evaluates and prioritizes improvement ideas, and makes deployment recommendations to the leadership team

• Assists Architects in defining key building blocks to conceptualize the future state architecture and in creating a roadmap for deploying the same

• Collaborates and takes ownership to draw out detailed project plans for migrating to future state architecture while bringing in the bottom-up understanding of constraints, and risks

• Works on initiatives such as automation and virtualization of servers, networks, and applications to improve the availability of the infrastructure services

Experience & Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience. 6+ years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in IT Infrastructure design.

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Application/Infrastructure/Enterprise Architect Training and Certification, e.g. TOGAF
Cloud Infrastructure Certification e.g. Azure Solution Architect Expert Certification
Networking, Network convergence & Network Security & Compliance (CCNA)
Enterprise IT Certification e.g. CGEIT
