Job Description

Ensure 100% compliance with statutory safety regulations (Factories Act,ISO 45001 and 14001 and other relavant standards)

Perform Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

Investigate accidents/incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.

Inspect firefighting systems, PPE, and safety devices to ensure readiness.

Drive continuous improvement in safety KPIs and participate in safety committee meetings.

To prepare and provide the EHS Induction Training for the new joiners/visitors

Familier with complete management of work permit system

Sound knowledge in Safety audits management as per the IS 14489

Conducting Risk Assessment for all activities and initiate the risk reduction programmes with the support of plant teams

To manage the MHE authorization by providing the training evaluations and authorization

To guide the plant teams for completing the critical activities and high-risk activities without any accidents

Creating new checklist for equipment's/Process based on the need.

To take the corrective actions for all types of incidents

To conduct the Enviroment Aspets & Impacts assesment study

To be familiar with EHS/Safety Policies & Procedures and actively participate in implementing the standards along with cross-functional teams

To prepare and update the training module based on the risk assessment

To ensure the SOP's are available for all the activities by colloborating with plant teams

To ensure the update the MIS data by 1st of every month

To assist and guide to management to comply the statutory compliance

To assist and support to EHS manager/Plant management on need basis

Should have knowledge in LOTO/Electrical safety

PPE Management

Form-4 and Form-5 preparation and compliance

To conduct the Safcom and Mockdrills as per the statutory requirements
