Job Description:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and target DG set requirements in infrastructure, construction, real estate, manufacturing, hospitals, and institutional projects.
  • Develop relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, architects, and end clients.
  • Visit project sites and client offices to understand needs and offer suitable DG solutions.

Tendering & Bidding:

  • Track and participate in government and private sector tenders (e.g., CPWD, MES, Railways, PSU).
  • Study tender documents and prepare techno-commercial offers.
  • Coordinate with OEMs (engine/alternator suppliers) and internal teams for pricing and approvals.
  • Ensure timely submission of EMD, documents, and bid packets.

Quotation & Proposal Management:

  • Prepare detailed proposals including technical specs, drawings, compliance sheets, and commercial terms.
  • Negotiate with customers and finalize orders.
  • Ensure alignment with company pricing strategy and margins.

Coordination & Order Execution:

  • Work with internal teams (design, production, purchase) for order follow-ups and timely delivery.
  • Support in documentation, LC/BG submission, and payment collection.
  • Ensure post-sale customer coordination and installation support where required.

Market Intelligence & Reporting:

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  • Maintain CRM records of leads, visits, and order pipeline.
  • Provide regular reports to management on targets vs. achievements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of DG sets and power backup solutions
  • Understanding of project sales cycle and tendering process
  • Ability to read technical drawings and tender specs
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Familiar with MS Office, Email, AutoCAD basics, and CRM tools
