Job Purpose
The Head of Finance & Accounts will lead the complete financial management of EON Elevators, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and growth readiness. This role is pivotal in preparing the company for its IPO transition, monitoring net worth, and implementing advanced financial tools and strategies for expansion in India and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Financial Leadership
- Drive the company's financial strategy aligned with growth and IPO readiness.
- Monitor company net worth, financial strength, and valuation metrics.
- Collaborate with leadership for fundraising, investor relations, and business expansion plans.
2. IPO Transition & Compliance
- Lead IPO readiness including financial structuring, due diligence, and SEBI compliance.
- Coordinate with investment bankers, auditors, and legal advisors for IPO filing.
- Ensure robust internal controls and transparent financial reporting.
3. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare long-term financial models, forecasts, and cash-flow analysis.
- Monitor business performance through KPIs, ratios, and variance analysis.
- Support decision-making with data-driven financial insights.
4. Accounts & Taxation
- Oversee all accounting operations including General Ledger, AR, AP, and reconciliations.
- Ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, etc.).
- Handle audits, tax assessments, and corporate filings within deadlines.
5. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare annual budgets and implement cost optimization strategies.
- Conduct project-wise costing, profitability reviews, and expenditure monitoring.
- Establish strong financial discipline across departments.
6. Tools, Systems & Automation
- Implement and optimize ERP/finance tools (Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Introduce dashboards and BI tools for real-time reporting.
- Automate processes to reduce manual errors and increase efficiency.
7. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team with focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Build financial capabilities to support IPO and international growth.
- Ensure adherence to ethical practices, confidentiality, and company protocols.
8. Standard Company Protocols & Behavioural Expectations
- Maintain strict confidentiality of company financial data and investor information.
- Ensure zero tolerance for bribery, unethical practices, or personal favors in financial dealings.
- Adhere to professional conduct, punctuality, and ethical standards at all times.
9. MIS & Reporting
- Generate and present monthly MIS reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Submit financial performance updates to management for strategic decisions.
- Highlight risks, financial gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
10. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team for effective performance.
- Ensure accuracy, discipline, and adherence to protocols by all team members.
- Conduct periodic training for the accounts team on compliance updates and process improvements.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Proven expertise in IPO processes, SEBI regulations, and corporate governance.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP, SAP, Oracle, and financial analytics tools.
- Strong business acumen and valuation skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and investor engagement skills.
Education & Experience
- MCOM, MBA (Finance) preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Accounts & Finance, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
- Prior experience in the Elevator / Construction / Manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
