Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Application Architect who possesses a strong technical background coupled with a business-focused mindset. The ideal candidate will be passionate about enterprise architecture and dedicated to aligning applications with business objectives. They should have extensive experience working with B2B and B2C e-commerce platform applications and possess knowledge of application rationalization. The primary focus of this role is to drive revenue growth by designing and implementing innovative application solutions. Excellent English communication skills and proficiency in API gateways, APIM (API Management), and API integration are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into technical requirements and solutions. Design and develop application architecture strategies that align with business objectives and promote revenue growth. Lead the application rationalization process, identifying opportunities to optimize the application portfolio for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring the successful implementation of enterprise architecture solutions. Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and recommending adoption where appropriate to enhance the organization's application landscape. Develop and maintain architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for application development. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and manage API gateways to support business requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to prioritize and roadmap application initiatives based on business value and strategic objectives. Conduct regular reviews and assessments of the application architecture to ensure alignment with evolving business needs and industry standards. Act as a subject matter expert on enterprise architecture principles, methodologies, and frameworks. Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as an Application Architect or similar role, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture. Extensive knowledge and experience in designing and implementing B2B and B2C e-commerce platform applications. Strong understanding of application rationalization principles and methodologies. Business-focused mindset with a track record of driving revenue growth through innovative application solutions. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in API gateways and APIM (API Management), with hands-on experience in API integration and management platforms. Experience working in a remote environment and comfortable with UK shift timings. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make strategic decisions that align with business objectives. Certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman are a plus.
