Job Description Job Title: Solution Architect Banking & Financial Applications Experience Level: 15+ years Location: Hyderabad, Chennai Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Banking and Financial Services applications, who can lead solutioning and refactoring initiatives across complex enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in .NET, Java, and Data Engineering, with experience in Snowflake and modern cloud-based architectures. Key Responsibilities: - Lead architecture and solution design for large-scale financial applications. - Drive modernization and refactoring of legacy systems into scalable, cloud-native solutions. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical strategy, architecture patterns, and integration approaches. - Provide technical leadership across .NET and Java-based platforms. - Design and implement data engineering pipelines with Snowflake and other modern data platforms. - Ensure compliance with banking and financial regulations and security standards. - Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and optimization of financial systems. - Mentor development teams and guide them on best practices in software engineering and architecture. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience in architecting and solutioning Banking/Financial Services applications. - Strong hands-on expertise in .NET (C#) or Java (Spring Boot, Microservices). - Solid experience in Data Engineering, especially with Snowflake, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data models. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with API design, integration patterns, and enterprise messaging systems. - Strong understanding of financial domain concepts such as payments, lending, risk, compliance, and core banking. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g. Azure Architect). - Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Exposure to AI/ML use cases in financial applications is a plus.
