Reporting To: Nursing Superintendent / Hospital Administration

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Nurse to manage nursing operations across Operation Theatre (OT), Outpatient (OP), Labour, and NICU departments at A4 Hospital. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in maternity or fertility hospitals with strong leadership, clinical knowledge, and patient care skills to ensure seamless departmental coordination and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise nursing staff in OT, OP, Labour & NICU departments.
  • Ensure quality patient care, infection control, and compliance with hospital protocols.
  • Plan and allocate nursing resources and prepare shift schedules.
  • Coordinate with doctors, anesthetists, pediatricians, and obstetricians for smooth operations.
  • Conduct staff training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and departmental reports.
  • Monitor equipment, supplies, and ensure readiness for emergency cases.
  • Support NABH/JCI accreditation processes and quality initiatives.

  • Ability to handle emergencies and critical situations confidently.
  • Organizational and decision-making skills with focus on patient safety.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • ANM, DGNM, B.Sc., or M.Sc. Nursing with valid registration from the Nursing Council.
  • 712 years of nursing experience with 35 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Experience in maternity or fertility hospitals preferred.
  • Knowledge of NABH/JCI accreditation is an advantage.
