Job Description

The Oracle WMS Functional Consultant position combines business knowledge and an understanding of the inner-workings and configuration options of Oracle Warehouse Management System. Understand and Analyze the business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions based on the Oracle EBS/Fusion Architecture that enable the organization to achieve its goals. This role will facilitate and improve communication between business and technical resources, so candidates must have the ability to coordinate, interact and work with different teams for the delivery of the solution.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners and onsite IT Analysts to understand and translate requirements into Functional Specifications and Design.
• Work closely with the technical team to hand off the functional design and support in technical design and Development of the solution.
• Test the solutions and drive SIT/UAT and support deployment after go live.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert(SME) in production operations, identify the root cause of issues, recommends and implement the solution for uninterrupted production operations.
• Liaise with Oracle on the production issues and product bugs.
• Good understanding of Agile Development Process.
• Experience in working on Configuration Management and Incident Management.
• Good understanding of Fusion Applications and Tech Stack.
• Knowledge of Order Management and OTM is a plus.
• Hands on experience in basic SQL and PL/SQL.

Requirements

• Must have at least 6 to 10 years of working experience in Oracle Discrete and Process.
• Must have at least 4 to 6 years of working experience in Oracle Applications Suite and very good understanding of Oracle tech stack.
• Experience in at least 2 to 3 full cycle Implementations in Oracle Warehouse Management System, experience in Designing Interface / Authoring functional design documents for Extensions/Interface/Conversion is must.
• Minimum 1 to 2 implementation or Support project experience in Oracle Fusion Applications as Fusion WMS/Logfire Functional Consultant.
• Strong understanding and in-depth hands on experience in the following areas is a Must:
• WMS experience covering complex processes in Shipping and Receiving, including WMS strategies and rules for picking, putaway, and shipping.
• MSCA experience including requirement gathering for development, customization and personalization of MSCA pages. Experience in Managing RF Guns.
• Strong knowledge of WMS inbound/outbound logistics, task management and wave planning.
• Experience with interfacing applications Such as Fusion Order Management and Oracle Transportation Management system.
• Good understanding and experience in Oracle Order Management.
• Experience in working with Development and functional teams to finalize cross functional solutions viz. teams across Manufacturing, Ordering and WMS tracks.
• Experience in preparation of Test Scripts / BR100 and Test Execution in functional testing/system integration testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Qualifications

Preferred Bachelor's degree of Engineering, master's degree, or equivalent from a reputed institute. Any certification in Warehouse Management or WMS module is preferred but Optional.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹150, ₹200,000.00 per month
