Role Overview

The Costing & MIS Executive will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, monitoring project expenses, and maintaining accurate Management Information System (MIS) reports for Bird Control Management projects. The role involves coordinating with the sales, procurement, and operations teams to ensure accurate costing, budget adherence, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Costing & Budgeting

  2. Prepare cost sheets for bird control projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs.

  3. Evaluate vendor quotations and analyze procurement costs.

  4. Track project expenses against approved budgets.

  5. MIS Reporting

  6. Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on project progress, costs, and revenue.

  7. Prepare variance analysis reports and highlight deviations.

  8. Generate dashboards for management decision-making.

  9. Data Management

  10. Maintain accurate databases of project costs, resource utilization, and contract terms.

  11. Ensure timely updates in ERP/Excel-based tracking systems.

  12. Coordination & Communication

  13. Work closely with operations to validate consumption of materials and manpower.

  14. Liaise with accounts for invoice reconciliation and payment follow-ups.
  15. Support audits by providing cost and project-related data.

Key Skills Required

  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas).
  • Knowledge of costing principles and project budgeting.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience in service industry costing (pest control, facility management, etc.) preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Statistics / Business Administration.
  • 24 years of experience in costing & MIS reporting (service industry preferred).
