SF QA JOB Description

A Salesforce testing job description typically involves developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications, covering functional, integration, regression, and performance testing. The role also requires collaborating with other teams to understand requirements and translating them into test scenarios, as well as performing manual and automated testing. Additionally, Salesforce testers are responsible for identifying and reporting defects, working with development teams to resolve issues, and ensuring the quality of Salesforce implementations and customizations.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze system specifications

Execute test cases (manual and automated) and analyze results

Create logs to document testing phases and defects

Report bugs and errors to development teams

Help troubleshoot issues

Conduct post-release / post-implementation testing

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements

Proven experience as a Salesforce Quality Assurance Tester

Experience in project management and QA methodology

Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus

Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. VSTS, Jira, selenium, cucumber) and SQL

Excellent communication skills

Attention to detail

Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude

Strong organizational skills

BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
