Role Overview

The Senior Sales Executive/Senior Agri Advisor (Office Based) will be responsible for managing inside sales operations, generating leads, supporting field teams, and achieving sales targets for agri-input products (fertilizers, bio-products, crop solutions, seeds, and allied agri services). This role is office-driven with customer interaction through calls, digital platforms, and dealer/distributor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
  • Handle inbound and outbound sales calls with farmers, dealers, and distributors.
  • Generate and qualify leads through tele-calling, digital campaigns, and CRM database.
  • Explain product benefits, schemes, and offers to clients and close sales.
  • Coordinate with field sales teams to schedule farmer meetings, demos, and training.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers and expand the customer base.
  • Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly sales performance reports.
  • Track competitor activities and market trends, share insights with management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in Agriculture, Business, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-5 years in sales (preferably in agri-inputs / fertilizers / seeds).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Target-driven with proven ability to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital sales platforms.
  • Fluency in local languages (Marathi/Hindi) and English.
