Job Title: Power BI Developer

Job Location: Ahmedabad (Work from Office)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our growing data team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions, such as reports, dashboards, and data models. You will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that data insights are effectively presented and utilised for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BI Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement BI reports, dashboards, and data visualisations that align with business requirements and provide actionable insights.

    •  Data Integration: Work on extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources to ensure accurate and timely availability of information.

    •  Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with business users to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.

    •  System Optimisation: Monitor and optimise BI systems for performance and scalability, ensuring that reporting tools are both responsive and reliable.

    •  Documentation: Document BI solutions, processes, and workflows to ensure consistency and ease of maintenance.

    •  Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support to end-users by troubleshooting issues with reports and dashboards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a BI Developer or in a similar data analytics role.

    •  Strong proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SSRS etc.) for creating reports and dashboards.

    •  Experience with cloud-based BI platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

    •  Solid experience with SQL for data extraction, analysis, and query optimisation.

    •  Proficient in TSQL, DAX, Power Query

    •  Experience with ETL processes and data integration techniques (e.g. SSIS)

    •  Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and database design principles.

    •  Ability to analyse large datasets and present complex findings in an understandable format.

    •  Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    •  Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile:

Candidate should have minimum 6 years of experience with Power BI along with below skills:

  • Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

    •  Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation.

    •  Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.

    •  Familiarity with data governance, security practices, and compliance standards.

    •  BI tool certifications (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) are a plus.
