Business Analyst

The ideal candidate will have experience working on IT/software development projects, preferably in the Insurance, Banking, or Low-Code/No-Code domains.

This role will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that requirements are clearly understood, well-documented, and effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acted as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Gathered, analyzed, and documented detailed business requirements from stakeholders across functional areas.
  • Evaluated technical constraints and worked with solution architects to propose practical and scalable solutions.
  • Translated business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and process workflows.
  • Created wireframes, process flows, and use cases to aid in development and QA understanding.
  • Performed competitive analysis and supported product strategy with relevant market research.
  • Collaborated closely with developers, QA, product owners, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
  • Participated in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Supported User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validated that final outputs met business requirements.
  • Recommended process improvements and contributed to innovative solution designs.
  • Demonstrated product functionality to clients and assisted the Pre-Sales team in business development efforts.
  • Open to occasional travel based on project or client needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software development projects.
  • Preferable experience in the Insurance, Banking, or Low-Code/No-Code product domains.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other BA tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
