Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Social Studies Teacher who can effectively teach History, Civics, Geography, and related subjects. The ideal candidate should have strong classroom management skills, a student-centric teaching approach, and prior experience in an international or CBSE/ICSE curriculum school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Social Studies for assigned grade levels.
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Evaluate student performance through classwork, projects, tests, and exams.
  • Provide individual support and guidance to students to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Integrate technology and interactive teaching tools into daily lessons.
  • Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance.
  • Coordinate with the academic team for curriculum planning, events, and parent communication.
  • Participate in parent–teacher meetings, school events, and training sessions.
  • Ensure adherence to school policies and teaching standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in History / Geography / Political Science / Social Sciences.
  • B.Ed. is mandatory.
  • 2–3 years of teaching experience (preferably in CBSE/ICSE/IB/IGCSE schools).
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to use digital tools, smart boards, and online teaching platforms.
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12, ₹35,466.84 per month
