Role Overview:

As a
QA Lead
, you will be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance team and ensuring that all cybersecurity products, platforms, and services meet the highest standards of reliability, security, and performance. You will collaborate closely with developers, security researchers, and product managers to drive testing strategies, automation frameworks, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Define, implement, and maintain QA processes, test strategies, and best practices tailored for cybersecurity products.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for functional, security, performance, and regression testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Security, Operations, Product) to ensure quality from design to deployment.
  • Drive test automation initiatives, integrating with CI/CD pipelines to improve release efficiency.
  • Conduct security-focused testing, including penetration test validation, vulnerability assessment verification, and compliance checks.
  • Monitor and report on test progress, quality metrics, defect trends, and release readiness.
  • Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats and testing tools to ensure proactive QA measures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of QA experience, including 2+ years in a leadership/lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing types (manual & automation), and defect management.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, or similar).
  • Experience in cybersecurity product testing (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, security platforms, etc.) is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD processes.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and compliance (e.g., OWASP, ISO 27001, NIST) will be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in security testing (static/dynamic code analysis, fuzz testing, vulnerability validation).
  • Exposure to cloud security platforms and API testing.
  • Certifications such as ISTQB, CSM, CEH, or equivalent will be a plus.
