About the Role

We are seeking a Vendor Compliance Specialist and role will focus on managing and disputing customer chargebacks, with an initial emphasis on Amazon. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and prior experience in compliance, dispute management, or customer/vendor chargeback resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and dispute chargebacks received from customers related to shipping compliance (shortages, damages, EDI issues, etc.).
  • Manage disputes through third-party software and directly in Amazon Vendor Central.
  • Collect and analyze supporting documentation to build cases and strengthen dispute success rates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (AP, AR, logistics, operations) to obtain necessary documentation and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of disputes, resolutions, and recovered funds.
  • Monitor compliance trends to identify recurring issues and propose process improvements.
  • Over time, expand responsibilities to manage chargeback disputes for other customers beyond Amazon.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 2- 4 years of experience in vendor compliance, accounts receivable, logistics, or dispute management.
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and ability to work with third-party dispute/chargeback management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
