Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify reliable vendors and suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate terms for price, quality, and delivery.
  • Raise purchase orders (POs) in line with company policies and ensure timely approvals.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other essential data.
  • Track inventory levels and coordinate with the stores/warehouse team to replenish stock as required.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory regulations (GST, TDS, etc.).
  • Handle import/export documentation (if applicable).
  • Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, quality complaints, or invoice discrepancies.
  • Work closely with finance to ensure timely vendor payments and reconciliation.

  • Prepare regular MIS reports on purchase, cost analysis, and vendor performance.

  • Should know to communicate in Hindi, English & Tamil.
