Chief Information Officer

The Role : Chief Information Officer (CIO). Location : India (Preferably: Bangalore/Chennai). The CIO will be responsible for defining and delivering IT strategy and capabilities across the enterprise.
This includes data analytics and business intelligence, development and support, infrastructure, security and technical services. The Executive will work collaboratively with the executive management team to provide effective leadership and guidance for information technology that will enhance the success of the organization through disruptive technologies. The Executive will also be responsible for company's growth by converting traditional technologies to digital ones, and over sees operations in the rapidly changing sectors like mobile applications, social media and as well as web-based information management and marketing.
- Responsible for assuring all financial and accounting operations are in compliance with GAAP.
- Develop local policies, SOPs and procedures where needed.
- Develop an IT vision, strategy, and a roadmap, and lead the IT team and its business partners in effective execution.
- Provide leadership & set objectives/strategies to the IT team and continue to build a team that is exceptionally customer-oriented, delivers business value and is well respected within organization.
- Ensure, on an ongoing basis, that current and planned technical architecture, investments and solutions are aligned with company business objectives.
- Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performance.
- Develop and execute an analytics program that will allow company business leaders to make data-based decisions.
- Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage.
- Ensure transparency and collaboration between the IT organization and its business partners.
- Keep the strategy fresh by staying up to date with the latest innovations, changes in competition, and shifts in the market.
- Ensures that IT infrastructure provides the most accurate and current information to the company to assist with decision-making, resource deployment and establishment of business priorities.
- Lead the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
- Establish and enforce IT policies, processes, portfolio management, development standards and methodologies.
- Develops functional plans for managing IT and security for the company, including activities to be performed in-house or through third-party relationships to best manage the company's information systems.
- Implement the most appropriate and effective IT organizational design to support and engage with the business.
- Build strong relationships with business groups and their leaders across the enterprise, and develop a detailed understanding of their issues, challenges and opportunities.
- Supervise recruitment, development, retention, and organization of all IT staff in accordance with corporate budgetary objectives and personnel policies.
Role Requirements and Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in i.
Computer Science/ IT from top Engineering Universities, MBA preferred.
- 20 years of progressive IT leadership experience in BPO/IT services companies, with a disciplinary responsibility for a team.
- Experience in driving change across the IT Stack.
- The goal is to have IT systems capable of supporting a $1bn global business.
- Experience in building HR solutions for the consulting, product companies.
- Improving business user experience on an ongoing basis with internal systems.
- Synchronizing systems to have

- Candidates in their early life must have started their career as System Analyst, BPR Business Process Reengineering or Business Process Consultant.
- Candidates should have been more focused in CRM, Sales/ HR Function Processes.
- Digital transformation experience of CRM/Sales/ HR Systems.
- Experience in working with/for internal customer/ processes not for the external customers.
- Experience in the development and implementation of digitization strategies.
- Experience in introducing new digital technologies and innovations in the evolving systems environment (e. Web/ Cloud/ mobile-based applications, SaaS, Social Media).

- Experience in managing teams and interacting with clients from around the world and from diverse cultures.
