Role & responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify and generate new business opportunities in assigned territories.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for TMT bars.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, builders, contractors, and engineers.
Conduct market visits to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and pricing trends.
Dealer & Channel Management
Assisting Sales managers to appoint and manage dealers/distributors in allocated regions.
- Ensure product visibility and branding at dealer points.
Motivate dealers to achieve sales targets and improve product penetration.
Customer Engagement
Meet IHB, contractors, Bar Benders and Engineers to promote TMT bars.
- Explain technical advantages, product quality, and brand value of the companys TMT bars.
Address customer queries, provide solutions, and close orders.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Collect market feedback on competitor activities, pricing, and customer preferences.
- Submit daily/weekly sales reports to the Sales Manager.
Maintain updated customer and dealer databases.
Promotions & Branding Support
Support marketing campaigns, dealer meets, and product promotion activities.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for hoardings, banners, and promotional material distribution.
Preferred candidate profile
- trong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of steel/TMT bar industry and construction sector.
- Ability to build and maintain dealer/contractor relationships.
- Result-oriented with problem-solving attitude.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and reporting.
