Job Title: Production Drawing and Costing Manager

Department: Production Drawing

Location: Gurugram (Factory / Head Office)

Experience Required: 5–10 Years

Reporting To: Design / Production Head

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional with strong expertise in production drawings, millwork detailing, and furniture costing. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in furniture manufacturing processes and the ability to lead and mentor a team of draughtsmen to deliver accurate and efficient production drawings for custom and modular furniture projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and finalize production drawings and millwork details for furniture and interior fit-out projects.
  • Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of drawings.
  • Supervise and guide a team of draughtsmen, ensuring timely completion and quality output.
  • Develop and maintain standard drawing templates, hardware libraries, and detailing standards.
  • Conduct detailed cost estimation and BOQ preparation based on production drawings and specifications.
  • Validate drawings with respect to materials, joinery methods, and manufacturing constraints.
  • Ensure all drawings adhere to company quality standards and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and project teams to resolve technical issues and design clarifications.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives for better productivity and cost efficiency.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and familiarity with other design tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Revit, or Cabinet Vision preferred).
  • Strong understanding of furniture materials, joinery details, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of millwork detailing and modular furniture systems.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to prepare and review accurate cost estimates and BOQs.
  • Leadership skills with experience in team management and workflow supervision.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification:

  • Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Furniture Design, Interior Design, or related discipline.

Employment Type: Full-Time
