Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records as per accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, cash, and credit transactions regularly.
- Manage petty cash and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Process vendor invoices, verify bills, and ensure timely payments.
- Monitor guest billing, advance payments, and receivables.
- Reconcile accounts with suppliers and customers periodically.
- Monitor departmental costs (F&B, Housekeeping, Maintenance, etc.) for efficiency.
- Oversee inventory accounting for F&B, housekeeping, and general stores.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and coordinate with storekeepers..
- Coordinate with department heads for financial data and expense control.
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making inputs.
- Work closely with the front office and reservations team for billing and collection reconciliation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- 3–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality or resort industry.
- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP / hotel management software.
- Familiarity with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
