Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
ITR & GST Associate
for our Indore office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end Income Tax Return filings and GST compliance processes for individuals, professionals, firms, and businesses. The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in ITR & GST platforms, and updated knowledge of Indian taxation laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and file
    Income Tax Returns (ITR)
    for salaried individuals, freelancers, HUFs, professionals, businesses, and firms.
  • Manage
    GST return filings
    , including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and related reconciliation.
  • Communicate with clients to collect financial and accounting data and ensure precision in tax filings.
  • Handle bulk returns during peak filing windows while ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist clients with deductions, exemptions, tax planning, and tax-saving strategies.
  • Address and resolve notices, intimations, and queries from the Income Tax and GST Department.
  • Coordinate with internal legal, accounts, and audit teams for integrated compliance support.
  • Prepare working papers, MIS reports, audit documentation, and assessment support files.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of amendments, circulars, and upcoming tax policy changes.
  • Work on
    Tally, Computax, GSTN portal, Traces, and other tax software
    efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum
    2 years of hands-on experience
    in ITR & GST filing.
  • Prior work experience in
    CA firm / tax consultancy / financial service firm
    is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Computation of Income, TDS, GST provisions, ITC reconciliation, and tax audit procedures.
  • Proficiency in
    Tally, Computax, Excel, and GST portal operations
    .
  • Familiarity with
    ITR forms 1–7
    and
    GST returns
    .
  • Education preferred:
    B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter / related qualification
    .
  • Excellent client communication, analytical thinking, and document-handling skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and perform under pressure during ITR & GST season.

Salary & Benefits

    ₹10,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience & skill level)
