Job Overview:

Bharucha & CO is looking for a dedicated Jr Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing daily accounting activities and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily accounting tasks, including data entry and bookkeeping.
  • Maintain accurate financial records using Tally Prime.
  • Prepare and file GST and TDS returns in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions.
  • Assist in bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Generate financial reports as needed for management review.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Tally Prime.
  • Solid understanding of GST and TDS regulations.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (essential).
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Accounting or Finance (preferred but not mandatory).
