Job Summary:

We are seeking a industrial structural design engineer responsible for designing, analyzing, and detailing structural systems for industrial building, plants, and facilities. This role involves creating safe, efficient, and cost effective designs in compliance with relevant codes and standards. The engineer collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical and process engineers, to deliver high-quality industrial infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Review structure systems for industrial facilities such as factories, warehouses, process plants, and equipment foundations.
  • Prepare structural design calculation, drawings, and specifications using relevant design codes (e.g., IS, ASTM)
  • Develop structural models using software such as Auto CAD, ETABS, Tekla, or Revit.
  • Coordinate with architects, mechanical and electrical engineers, and project managers to ensure design integration.
  • Review and approve structural drawings, fabrication details, and construction documents.
  • Conduct site visits for structural inspections, quality checks, and design validation.
  • Support cost estimation, tender documentation, and technical bid evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, design codes, and client specification.
  • Provide technical support during construction and resolve field-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 3-5+ years of proven experience in Structural design.
  • Proficiency in ETABS, Autocad, Tekla, Revit.
  • Knowledge of codes.
  • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, project coordination, and report writing.
  • Experience in [Industry, e.g., Factories, Corporate Companies ] is a plus.
