Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Architect to design and implement end-to-end cloud-based data solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in cloud data architecture, data engineering, and analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data architecture on Microsoft Azure.
- Lead the development of data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks.
- Define data models and data integration strategies.
- Work with stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance in cloud solutions.
- Optimize data storage and performance using Azure best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and data scientists.
Required Skills:
Strong experience with Azure Data Services:
Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Databricks
Azure SQL / SQL DW
Strong SQL and data modeling skills (star/snowflake schema).
- Hands-on experience in data ingestion, ETL/ELT, and orchestration.
- Good understanding of DevOps practices in data projects (CI/CD, Git, etc.).
- Experience with Power BI or other BI tools is a plus.
