Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Architect to design and implement end-to-end cloud-based data solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in cloud data architecture, data engineering, and analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data architecture on Microsoft Azure.
  • Lead the development of data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks.
  • Define data models and data integration strategies.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance in cloud solutions.
  • Optimize data storage and performance using Azure best practices.
  • Collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and data scientists.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with Azure Data Services:

  • Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)

  • Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Azure Databricks

  • Azure SQL / SQL DW

  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills (star/snowflake schema).

  • Hands-on experience in data ingestion, ETL/ELT, and orchestration.
  • Good understanding of DevOps practices in data projects (CI/CD, Git, etc.).
  • Experience with Power BI or other BI tools is a plus.
