Our team leverages deep technical expertise and industry insights to architect solutions that enable intelligent decision-making and enhance business performance.If you are passionate about modern data platforms, cloud architecture, and helping organizations unlock the full potential of their data, we invite you to join our dynamic team.Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Azure Data Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, high-performance data architecture solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.In this leadership role, you will be responsible for building end-to-end data solutions that power analytics, machine learning, and enterprise intelligence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture standards, ensure best practices, and deliver secure and optimized data ecosystems.Key Responsibilities : Architecture & Design : - Design and develop scalable, high-performance data architectures leveraging Azure services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.- Architect robust data warehouse and data lakehouse solutions to support analytical and BI workloads.- Define and implement data modeling, data governance, and data security frameworks aligned with organizational and compliance standards.- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and architecture blueprints.Data Engineering & Development : - Build and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for ingestion, transformation, and loading of large datasets from diverse sources.- Develop and maintain data orchestration workflows and automation pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks notebooks.- Ensure efficient data integration between on-premises systems, APIs, and cloud data sources.Data Management & Governance : - Establish and enforce data quality, metadata management, lineage tracking, and data cataloging processes.- Implement data privacy, security, and compliance controls in alignment with regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).- Work closely with information security teams to ensure proper access control and encryption standards.Collaboration & Leadership : - Partner with data engineers, BI developers, and business analysts to deliver end-to-end data-driven solutions.- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams, promoting best practices in coding, documentation, and version control.- Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and architectures to continuously improve the organizations data landscape.Reporting & Visualization : - Architect and optimize reporting frameworks using Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).- Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to design intuitive and impactful dashboards and KPIs for stakeholders.Required Skills & Qualifications : - 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data architecture, or analytics, with at least 5 years of hands-on Azure experience.- Strong proficiency with Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Power BI.- In-depth knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT frameworks.- Expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, and data performance tuning.- Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and master data management (MDM) principles.- Experience with Python, PySpark, or Scala for large-scale data processing is a plus.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.- Ability to work effectively with global stakeholders and lead data initiatives in a cross-functional environment.Educational Qualifications : - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.- Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification preferred.Why Join Us : - Opportunity to work on cutting-edge Azure and big data technologies.- Collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented work environment.- Hybrid work model supporting work-life balance.- Exposure to global projects aligned with next-gen data transformation initiatives.How to Apply : Interested candidates can share their updated CVs at narmadha@sidanglobal.comwith the subject line : Application for Azure Data Architect Mumbai (Airoli) (ref:hirist.tech)
