Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Podiatrist & Wound Care Specialist
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in foot care and wound management, with hands-on experience in treating chronic wounds and performing minor foot procedures. This role also includes opportunities for teleconsultation and guiding patients in home-care protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage diabetic foot ulcers, venous ulcers, pressure sores, and other wound-related conditions.
- Perform minor foot procedures, including wound debridement, nail care, and callus removal.
- Utilize advanced wound care products, dressings, and technologies to optimize healing.
- Provide teleconsultation services and guide patients on home-care wound management protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow evidence-based clinical practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree/Diploma in Podiatry, Diabetic Foot Care, or Wound Management (recognized program).
- 2–5+ years of clinical experience in podiatry and wound care.
- Strong knowledge of advanced wound care products and technologies.
- Competence in performing minor surgical and podiatric procedures.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
- Open to telemedicine and innovative wound care practices.
