Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Tutor to support the Respiratory Care Technology program within the Allied Health Sciences department. The Tutor will assist in delivering theoretical and practical instruction, support student learning, and contribute to academic and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist faculty in the preparation and delivery of lectures, laboratory sessions, and clinical training.
  • Provide academic support and tutoring to students in areas such as respiratory therapy procedures, patient care techniques, and pulmonary function testing.
  • Conduct small group tutorials, lab demonstrations, and simulation-based instruction.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain and update educational materials and lab equipment.
  • Support faculty with academic research, assessments, and continuous curriculum development.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in classroom and clinical settings.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and professional development activities.
