Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Biology to join our esteemed institution in Mysore. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and a genuine passion for educating higher secondary students in line with the Karnataka State Board curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Biologyy for Grades 11 and 12 (PUC level) following the Karnataka State Board syllabus.
- Prepare lesson plans, lab activities, and academic assessments.
- Conduct practical sessions in the chemistry lab and ensure safety protocols.
- Track student progress and provide academic support as needed.
- Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment.
- Participate in school meetings, events, and parent-teacher interactions.
Eligibility Criteria
- M.Sc in Biology (mandatory)
- B.Ed (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the PUC/Higher Secondary level preferred
- Strong command over subject matter and classroom management
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Kannada is an advantage
